Too Much Information

  1. So, here is a weird thing that happened to me. A few months ago I got a request on Flickr to use one of my photos for a book cover. It was a nice request and they said they would send me a promotional code for the book when it was finished. Which they just recently did (with a very nice thank you note for letting them use it).
Should I just let someone use my photography for free? I don’t know. I certainly didn’t mind. It isn’t like I was going to make money with it some other way. I guess maybe some professional photographer might have made money by being paid for doing this work, but I don’t really know. Maybe a stock photo. Who knows. Well, I’m sure someone has crazy strong, informed opinions on this, but not me.
Anyway. It is kind of fun and makes me happy.
