Her surgery went well. She had to reopen the inner stitches and clean them up, but she said it all looked good now. We just have to keep the cone on her, give her medicine for a while and take her in to get the stitches checked on Saturday.
The vet also commented on what a sweet cat she is. Maybe she says that to all the owners, but I still felt glad she said it.
Sigh. THIS IS WHY I DIDN’T WANT A PET. On the other hand, even knowing this was going to happen I wouldn’t go back and not get her. I really think she’s our perfect match.
