We have essentially solved all of our no electricity blues with money. We spent hours at IKEA yesterday. We went out to eat. Today we are at our pool. All of our food will spoil, but we can buy more.
I feel lucky that we have the means to do it, but I think of all the people for whom a refrigerator of wasted food is a real honest monetary emergency. It makes me realize that I really shouldn’t complain.
