Why is every season of Gilmore Girls $35 on iTunes, but I can buy the DVD for $20? Why are they not available on Netflix or Hulu. Why? Why? Why?

I don’t know but this drives me nuts too. The only thing worse is seeing a hardcover book for less than the Kindle version. (Or even a paperback version, for that matter.)

ABC Family has started showing them again but they cut a lot out and you have to put up with commercials for their terrible shows throughout. :/

Because the content owners are trying to control how you consume their products and they are fighting a losing battle. iTunes is too powerful, let’s let Netflix stream our shows. Now Netflix is too powerful, let’s let xyz do… ad infinitum.
