Elementary
Ok. I just watched the pilot.
Meh.
I didn’t hate it, but it wasn’t believable or very interesting.
I really wanted to like Watson, but she didn’t display any personality until the last two minutes of the show.
Sherlock apologized at least 3 times in this episode. It felt wrong.
So, I don’t know. Maybe I’ll try another episode, but it didn’t hook...

I can’t find a way to set a default e-mail address. I just removed all the Facebook info from my contacts. Settings —> Facebook —> “Contacts” Off

Definitely uncheck the Facebook contacts in settings. That should fix it.
So, this worked. And is fine, because, as stated by others...
Technical Question
I upgraded to ios6. I went to send a group email to my “staff” email list (which is a whole different story because I hate that I have to select everyone on the list individually, but I’m used to that problem). I sent the email and then got several bounce backs that, “This person only accepts email at facebook from people they know.” I looked into it and realized it...

Everyone in my house is sick except me. I brought Sylvia home from school because she was sick, but then ended up taking Mithril to the vet due to excessive messing with her incision + diarrhea (bigger ecollar, YAY, more medicine, YAY). Aaron is at work, but he hurt his back and his ankle mysteriously (getting old, YAY).
I’ve used some of my time at home to try to google more information...

It’s a lot like our place. In that we also own chairs.

Mithril Update
Her surgery went well. She had to reopen the inner stitches and clean them up, but she said it all looked good now. We just have to keep the cone on her, give her medicine for a while and take her in to get the stitches checked on Saturday.
The vet also commented on what a sweet cat she is. Maybe she says that to all the owners, but I still felt glad she said it.
Sigh. THIS IS WHY I DIDN’T...

Infection!
Mithril’s incision from her spaying is infected! I’ve only had a cat for 3 days and I’m already an unfit mother. :(

CAT OWNERSHIP
I like to know stuff. Any time I try something new I consume tons of information on HOW TO DO THIS NEW THING.
Getting a cat has been no exception. I was shocked to find out how much controversy there is on all things cat! Wet food/dry food/clumping litter/non clumping litter/corn based/clay based/wheat based litter.
The sum total of all my knowledge of how to care for cats came from tv...
